Model. Musician. M·A·C boy. Fresh off his runway debut at Paris Fashion Week and an appearance at our Lustreglass event in Los Angeles, Jayden James is ready to take on the world. M·A·Czine caught up with the self-taught musician to learn about his experience in the fashion industry so far, his musical aspirations, and – most importantly – his enviable skin routine.

“I’ve always loved fashion and being creative,” he tells M·A·Czine. “But if you ask me who got me into fashion, I would definitely say Francisco Lachowski. When he went off on TikTok and I saw the edit, I was like, ‘Dang, I need to be like that guy.’”

He made his runway debut earlier this year during Paris Fashion Week. His appearance was one of the most talked about moments of the season, but when reflecting on his experience, he just remembers thinking, “Please don’t fall – and just breathe.” Before he walks on set, he gets in the zone. How so? “The right music, coffee, and definitely a nice outfit.” (His go-to coffee order is a vanilla iced latte, in case you were wondering.)

THE POWER OF FIX+
When it comes to skincare, besides hydration, Jayden James is still figuring out his own routine. “My girlfriend does my whole routine for me, so if you wanna ask her about that, I think she’s the better person,” he admits. (“His routine is very simple – just a face wash, a moisturizer, and a facial spray. He’s very difficult to get him to do skincare,” she tells us.) But he loves Fix+. “The first time I used Fix+, the first thing I noticed was the scent, it actually smells really good,” he says. “I would put Fix+ on if my skin was dry, after washing my face, or after a crazy workout and I need to cool off.”
